Sherry has worked in private practice for a decade and 1/2, providing professional counseling services to a wide variety of clients. Communication, life transitions, treatment for depression, anxiety, and other more complicated diagnoses .....

Special area of focus is sexual trauma. Sherry has worked successfully with individuals, couples and families, teaching them a better way to achieve a more inspired and happy life.

Sherry loves working with people and loves counseling with them. Many satisfied clients have referred their friends. Achieving the most optimum outcomes is her goal.

Sherry is used to achieving herself. She was voted "Most Promising Young Executive" in her twenties, when she was Executive Director for a nonprofit association. She was chosen as 1 of 10 juniors at the University of Utah for a Senior Thesis program in psychology.

She served on a board of directors of the Never Again Foundation, which provided legal funds for those without resources, defending them in the court system. The founder, R. Keith Perkins, won large awards for traumatized women, to put the cost of abuse upon the perpetrator, rather than society.

My Purpose in Life:
A message from me... I have a strong belief that I am here to help women and children (not exclusively) to overcome the harmful effects of abuse, maltreatment, and address issues with family, friends, and individual growth developmental stages.

Where there is damage, healing can take place. I have been privileged to be a part of this process many times. This can happen for you, too.

It is so important, as women, that we find the light inside - to benefit ourselves and our families, seeking guidance from a loving God to help us to become whom we came here to be. We are all unique and my privilege and responsibility are to help others become the noble and refined ladies we can become.

I believe that as women, we are exceptional, that we 'rise to the top', that we fulfill our purposes, that we learn and grow, and have so many talents and gifts.

Finding virtue and strength within ourselves, yes, even after sexual, betrayal, or other trauma, is entirely possible. Some of the strongest women I know, exquisite women, have suffered almost unimaginable wrongs and have overcome them. Certain women have worked to heal and see their trauma as a learning experience, then reached out to help others. Quiet and strong in their attributes, women have protected themselves, their children, and others. This is the noblest and highest of callings - to be a woman in this day and time. I feel honored to know exceptional women who are the jewels in the crown of our loving God. May we so know this, strengthen ourselves and others, and act well our part as we recover from unwanted damage.

I love people, my faith, and the work that I do in helping others to find their best selves. I would be honored to make that journey with you.
